PROJECT UPDATE · SEPTEMBER 2026
Construction and equipment installation are progressing at a large-scale cattle manure resource recovery project in Liaozhong District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. Designed to process 175,000 tons of fresh cattle manure annually, the project integrates anaerobic digestion, biogas utilization, aerobic composting and organic fertilizer production.
Project Overview
Location: Liaozhong District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, ChinaProject type: Cattle manure resource recovery and organic fertilizer productionRaw material: Fresh cattle manureProcessing capacity: 500 tons per day / 175,000 tons per yearDesigned organic fertilizer output: 35,000 tons per yearSite area: Approximately 5 hectares (75 mu)Current stage: Equipment installation and project construction
Integrated Resource Recovery Process
The project is designed around an integrated “energy recovery plus fertilizer production” process. Fresh cattle manure is mixed, inoculated and preheated before entering a high-solids anaerobic digestion system. The designed anaerobic fermentation period is approximately 28 days.
Biogas generated during anaerobic digestion will be desulfurized and used for on-site power generation or further purified into biomethane. After solid-liquid separation, the digestate solids are mixed with auxiliary materials for aerobic composting, curing and subsequent production of powder or granular organic fertilizer.

Current Installation Progress
Jinyuelong Machinery is responsible for the overall production-line design and the supply of compost turning equipment, material conveying systems and the complete organic fertilizer production line. The company is also providing installation guidance to support the integration of the equipment and processing stages.
At the current stage, the main workshop structure is in place, and installation of the conveying systems, compost turning equipment and associated ducting is progressing. The equipment layout is designed to support continuous material transfer between the main treatment and fertilizer production stages.
Further system integration, electrical work and commissioning will continue as construction progresses. Once completed, the facility will combine cattle manure treatment, renewable energy recovery and commercial organic fertilizer production within one integrated site.
